About DiffCI

DiffCI is a change-aware test verification tool for coding agents and development teams. It selects tests affected by code changes, falls back to full verification when uncertain, and offers paired runtime evaluation plus MCP interfaces for guidance or local-checkout work.

Key features

  1. 01Analyze changes and select affected tests
  2. 02Fall back to full verification when uncertain
  3. 03Bind verification results to snapshots
  4. 04Compare full and selected test runtimes
  5. 05Check conflicts in supplied change specifications

Use cases

  1. 01Verify code changes produced by an agent
  2. 02Run change-aware tests locally or in CI
  3. 03Evaluate selected-test runtime against full tests
  4. 04Check whether specifications target the same item

MCP support

DiffCI provides a stateless, read-only HTTPS MCP endpoint for validation guidance, plus a stdio MCP server for inspecting a local checkout or running tests.

Configuration

Remote servers need no local install. Pick your client, then copy the config or install in one click.

New to MCP?

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.

An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
