About Collections Optimizer

Collections Optimizer is a remote MCP service for collections teams at banks, lenders, telecoms and utilities. It ranks overdue accounts by expected recovery uplift and recommends compliant contact strategies.

Key features

  1. 01Score payment and self-cure likelihood
  2. 02Rank accounts by recovery uplift
  3. 03Recommend channel, timing and tone
  4. 04Allocate accounts to agents
  5. 05Forecast roll rates and cures
  6. 06Refresh queues nightly

Use cases

  1. 01Prioritize a daily collections work queue
  2. 02Avoid contacting accounts likely to self-cure
  3. 03Choose compliant outreach for an account

MCP support

Exposes collections scoring, prioritization, contact strategy and allocation tools to MCP clients over Streamable HTTP. OAuth 2.1 is used for client sign-in.

Configuration

Remote servers need no local install. Pick your client, then copy the config or install in one click.

Collections Optimizer

A daily collections work-queue for banks, NBFCs, MFIs, BNPL, telecom and utilities. Scores propensity-to-pay and self-cure, ranks accounts by expected recovery uplift from contact (the moveable middle, not oldest or biggest first), recommends channel / timing / tone, and assigns work to agents. Contact-hour and frequency caps are hard constraints.

Install

VS Code / GitHub Copilot

Add to .vscode/mcp.json (workspace) or your user mcp.json:

{
  "servers": {
    "saifs-collections-optimizer": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://collections-optimizer-mcp.saifs.ai/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Then start the server from the MCP view and sign in when prompted.

Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http saifs-collections-optimizer https://collections-optimizer-mcp.saifs.ai/mcp
Any other MCP client

Point it at https://collections-optimizer-mcp.saifs.ai/mcp using the Streamable HTTP transport. The server returns 401 with a WWW-Authenticate: Bearer … resource_metadata=… challenge, so OAuth-aware clients sign in automatically.

Tools

ToolWhat it does
score_propensityP(will pay), P(self-cure) and expected recovery for an account.
prioritize_queueDaily work-list ranked by expected recovery uplift from contact.
recommend_contact_strategyBest channel, timing and tone-tier (call / WhatsApp / notice) within fair-collection hours.
flag_self_cureAccounts likely to pay without contact — skip to avoid wasted or excess outreach.
predict_roll_rateSurvival-based bucket-to-bucket roll / cure forecast for provisioning.
optimize_agent_allocationAssign accounts to agents by skill and success history (Hungarian method).
explain_priorityWhy this account and this strategy — for agent trust and audit.
watch_queueNightly re-score so the morning queue is fresh.

Example prompts

  • “Here’s our overdue book. Who should agents work today, and who will likely self-cure?”
  • “For account A-1042, what’s the best channel and time to contact, within permitted hours?”
  • “Allocate this queue across 8 agents by who recovers which product best.”

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.

An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
