Procurement & Supplier Selection
RemoteAbout Procurement & Supplier Selection
An MCP server for procurement teams that turns delivery, spend, and supplier-score data into auditable supplier and order-quantity decisions. It combines ranking, reliability scoring, and spend classification; public-tender rankings are supporting evidence only.
Key features
- 01AHP supplier weighting and TOPSIS ranking
- 02On-time and defect reliability scoring
- 03Quantity-discount EOQ order sizing
- 04Kraljic spend quadrant mapping
- 05Procurement decision records
Use cases
- 01Select suppliers from receipt and spend data
- 02Compare quotes with supplier performance history
- 03Estimate order lots from quantity discounts
MCP support
This remote MCP server exposes supplier-selection and procurement-analysis tools over Streamable HTTP. It uses OAuth 2.1 and can provide a locally runnable script for larger datasets.
Configuration
Remote servers need no local install. Pick your client, then copy the config or install in one click.

Details
From the project READMEProcurement & Supplier Selection
Explained, audit-ready supplier choice and buying-quantity decisions from delivery, spend and supplier scores. Weights suppliers with AHP, ranks them with TOPSIS, scores on-time / defect reliability, sizes lots with quantity-discount EOQ, and maps the book into Kraljic spend quadrants. Public-tender mode treats the ranking as supporting evidence only.

Any other MCP client
Point it at https://procurement-and-supply-mcp.saifs.ai/mcp using the Streamable HTTP transport. The server returns 401 with a
WWW-Authenticate: Bearer … resource_metadata=… challenge, so OAuth-aware clients sign in automatically.
Tools
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
procurement_supplier_selection | For up to 1,000 delivery rows, 500 spend items and 60 suppliers: AHP weights, TOPSIS ranking, vendor reliability, EOQ order sizing, Kraljic spend map and a decision record (FOLLOW TENDER RULES, STOP USING, ORDER, NEGOTIATE…). |
procurement_get_engine | For larger GRN / spend files: returns a runnable numpy-only script that runs the same engine locally, so the data never leaves the user's machine. |
Example prompts
- “Here are last year’s GRNs and spend. Who should we keep, and who should we stop using?”
- “We have three quotes and on-time history. Rank the suppliers and say if the scores are too close to award.”
- “What lot size should we buy given these quantity-discount slabs?”

New to MCP?
From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.
An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
