About Synthetic Data — Random User
A remote MCP server that creates realistic but synthetic user profiles for development, QA and demos. Its single tool returns requested quantities of profiles, avoiding the use of real personal data in fixtures.
Key features
- 01Generate synthetic user profiles
- 02Include contact and login fields
- 03Provide location and nationality
- 04Return profile pictures
Use cases
- 01Populate demo contact screens
- 02Create QA data fixtures
- 03Mock up team directories
MCP support
Exposes a `random_users` tool through a remote Streamable HTTP MCP endpoint. OAuth 2.1 authentication is used.
Configuration
Remote servers need no local install. Pick your client, then copy the config or install in one click.

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.
An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
