About Aim

Aim is a hosted market-intelligence service that monitors news, podcasts, social, competitor, and regulatory sources for AI agents. It is for teams researching markets and tracking topics, with tools to inspect both emerging signals and their source documents.

Key features

  1. 01Research markets, competitors, and topics
  2. 02View recent signals for monitored topics
  3. 03List monitoring projects
  4. 04Retrieve source documents behind clusters

Use cases

  1. 01Research a market or competitor using curated sources
  2. 02Review new developments in monitored topics
  3. 03Check which projects are being monitored
  4. 04Inspect documents behind a market signal

MCP support

Aim exposes a hosted remote MCP server over Streamable HTTP, with OAuth authentication. MCP clients can use tools for market research, updates, projects, source documents, and service information.

Configuration

Remote servers need no local install. Pick your client, then copy the config or install in one click.

Aim MCP Server

Market knowledge layer for AI agents. From the noise, the signal.

Aim gives your AI agents a market knowledge layer: it monitors millions of sources (news, podcasts, social, competitor and regulatory data, much of it unavailable to general tools) and surfaces the signal shaping your market. Reach it from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Gemini, or any MCP client, plus Slack, email, and the native Aim app.

This repository is the public connection guide and registry manifest for Aim's hosted MCP server. Aim is a hosted, commercial service, so there is no self-hosted package to install.

Connect

MCP endpoint: https://mcp.startaiming.com/mcp (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first call)

Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http aim https://mcp.startaiming.com/mcp

Authentication opens in your browser on the first tool call.

Claude Desktop

Settings -> Connectors -> Add custom connector, paste https://mcp.startaiming.com/mcp, click Connect, and complete the browser sign-in.

Claude.ai (web, desktop, mobile)

Open the custom-connector dialog, Add https://mcp.startaiming.com/mcp, then Connect and sign in to Aim. Works across Free, Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans.

Cursor, VS Code, and other MCP clients

Add a new MCP server in the app's settings with the URL https://mcp.startaiming.com/mcp, then authenticate in the browser on first use.

New to MCP?

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.

An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
