About AIStatusDashboard
AIStatusDashboard tracks availability for commonly used AI apps. It combines live probes, official incident feeds, and user reports, and shows “checking” when a status cannot be verified.
Key features
- 01Monitors multiple AI apps
- 02Probes latency and errors
- 03Collects official incident updates
- 04Includes user outage reports
- 05Sorts troubled apps first
Use cases
- 01Check whether ChatGPT or another app is down
- 02Review an app’s status and incident history

Is ChatGPT down, or is it just you?
AI Status answers that one question, fast, for the AI apps people actually use: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity, DeepSeek, Meta AI, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Character.AI, and Le Chat.
What makes it different from mirroring an official status page:
- We test the services ourselves. Cron-driven probes send real requests to
each provider every few minutes and record latency and errors
(
lib/services/provider-probes.ts). - We read the official incident feeds for every provider and link to the
original source on each incident (
lib/services/source-ingestion.ts). - Visitors report in. A one-tap "it's broken for me too" button feeds the "is it just you?" verdict, with self-test traffic filtered out.
- We never fake a green light. If a status can't be verified it renders as "checking", not "operational".

New to MCP?
From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.
An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
