Key features
- 01Grant discovery and ranking
- 02Grounded proposal drafting
- 03Discoverer, ranker and drafter roles
- 04Human or kernel review before sending
- 05CLI, SDK and REST API
Use cases
- 01Find and rank grant opportunities
- 02Prepare a funding proposal draft

MCP support
OpenGOS exposes grant discovery, ranking and drafting capabilities through an MCP server. Agents propose; a human or kernel reviews proposals before they are sent.
Configuration
Local server config is the same for every client. Copy it into your client’s MCP config file.
We haven’t collected a package or remote endpoint for this server. Follow the instructions in the project README.
Tools
Local servers expose tools only once running on your machine, and the maintainer has not provided a tool list.

FOUNDRY mapping
FOUNDRY separates untrusted proposal generation from host-owned verification and an established-facts registry. OpenGOS is the grants surface of that split:
| FOUNDRY role | OpenGOS surface |
|---|---|
| Agents propose | discoverer → ranker → drafter (skills/multi-agent-workflow/) |
| Host verifies | human / kernel review before a proposal is sent |
| Established facts | ranked grant matches + draft artifacts, not self-attested win reports |
Durable memory for those facts lives in YodMCP. Promotion through kernels is fail-closed (LRSI, Server-OS, RUI). Host owns the evaluator; agents propose.

New to MCP?
From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.
An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
