MCP support

Offers local stdio and remote Streamable HTTP connections for MCP clients, exposing tools for model calls, web processing, image generation, and speech generation.

Configuration

Local server config is the same for every client. Copy it into your client’s MCP config file.

Environment variables to set
APEXAPI_API_KEYSecretYour ApexApi API key (starts with 'ak-'). Get one at https://apexapi.dev or via agent self-registration per https://apexapi.dev/auth.md

Local servers need a runtime on your machine (e.g. Node.js 18+). Config file locations differ by client; see your client’s docs.

MCP server for ApexApi — call 120+ AI models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, Qwen…) and read the live web (scrape / crawl / structured extract) from any MCP client, with one ak- API key and one prepaid balance.

Remote (Streamable HTTP)

Responses use MCP Streamable HTTP framing (SSE) — clients like Claude Code handle this natively; it is not a plain-JSON REST endpoint.
