Awesome

A curated list of Blockchain & Crypto-related Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, enabling AI models to interact with Web3. MCP allows AI agents to safely execute on-chain actions, access blockchain data, and interact with decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols.

🌍 What is MCP?

Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that enables AI models to interact with external tools, including APIs, databases, and blockchains. It allows AI-powered applications to query blockchain data, perform on-chain transactions, and access crypto market data.

Anthropic maintains an official list of MCP servers.
While this Awesome Blockchain MCPs List focuses only on the blockchain and crypto ecosystem.
Some of the projects listed below comes directly for that official list.

πŸ“Œ Table of Contents

πŸ”— On-Chain Integration MCPs

These MCP servers connect AI models directly to blockchain networks, enabling actions such as checking wallet balances, executing smart contract calls, and fetching blockchain data.

  • Web3 MCP (Strangelove Ventures) – Multi-chain MCP server supporting Ethereum, Solana, Cardano, THORChain, XRP, Bitcoin, and more. Fetch balances, account data, and execute transactions.
  • EVM MCP Server – Supports 30+ EVM-compatible blockchains, including Ethereum, Polygon, BSC, and Arbitrum. Enables contract interactions, ERC-20 balance queries, and ENS lookups.
  • GOAT On-Chain Agent MCP – "One MCP to rule all chains" with 200+ on-chain actions across Ethereum, Solana, and Base. Fetch data and execute smart contract interactions.
  • Solana MCP (SendAI) – Dedicated Solana MCP server with 40+ Solana-specific actions, including SPL token management and account data.
  • Blockchain MCP powered by Tatum – A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that provides access to the Tatum Blockchain Data API and RPC Gateway, enabling any LLM to read and write blockchain data across 130+ networks.
  • deBridge MCP – Enables AI agents to find optimal cross-chain swap routes, check fees, and initiate non-custodial trades across Ethereum, Solana, Arbitrum, Base, BNB Chain, Polygon, Optimism, Avalanche, Linea, Berachain, Tron, Cronos, Gnosis, Monad, Sonic, Flow, HyperEVM, Sei, Story, Injective, Abstract, MegaETH, Mantle, Plasma, Zilliqa, Sophon, Bob, Neon, and other chains.
  • Arcadia Finance - Manage concentrated liquidity positions with leverage, automated rebalancing, and yield optimization on Base and Optimism.
  • WAIaaS – Self-hosted wallet daemon for AI agents. 59+ MCP tools for wallet management, DeFi (swap/lend/stake/bridge/perp), NFT, and x402 payments across EVM + Solana. Default-deny policy engine, spending limits, human approval, kill switch. Keys never leave the daemon.

πŸ“Š Blockchain Data

  • CoinGecko MCP - Provides access to CoinGecko API to fetch tokens and market data.
  • CoinMarketCap MCP – Fetches real-time cryptocurrency prices, market cap, and volume data from CoinMarketCap.
  • CoinCap MCP – Provides real-time crypto market data from the CoinCap API without requiring an API key.
  • CoinStats MCP – Provides access to cryptocurrency market data, portfolio tracking, and news.
  • Octav API MCP – Multi-chain crypto portfolio tracking MCP server. Access wallet holdings, DeFi protocol positions, transaction history, and token analytics across 20+ blockchains directly from Claude.
  • Hive Intelligence - Ultimate cryptocurrency MCP for AI assistants with unified access to crypto, DeFi, and Web3 analytics. Hive's remote mcp server guide remote server.

πŸ’° Crypto Payments MCPs

MCP servers designed for crypto transactions, payments, and market data.

  • Lightning Network MCP – Enables AI-driven Bitcoin payments via Lightning Network, supporting invoice payments and balance queries.
  • Zebedee ZBD MCP – Connects AI agents to Bitcoin Lightning for micropayments and rewards.
  • Base USDC Transfer MCP – AI-driven USDC transfers on Base chain using Coinbase MPC wallets (gas-free transfers).

πŸ” Blockchain Analytics & Security MCPs

MCP servers providing analytics, compliance, and security insights for blockchain networks.

  • Heurist Mesh MCP – Provides on-chain analytics, token metrics, and security insights for smart contracts.
  • Ergo Explorer MCP – Queries Ergo blockchain data, including transaction history and forensic analysis of addresses.
  • Etherscan MCP – Fetch Ethereum blockchain data using Etherscan’s API, including token balances, ENS lookups, and contract interactions.
  • Philidor DeFi Vault Risk Analytics – Search and score 700+ DeFi vaults across Morpho, Aave, Spark, Yearn, Beefy, Compound, and Uniswap. Three-vector risk framework (Asset 40%, Platform 40%, Governance 20%) with Prime/Core/Edge tier classification. Remote server at mcp.philidor.io β€” no API key needed.

New to MCP?

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.

An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
