MCP support
Notify Sound is a remote MCP server at `https://notifysound.com/mcp` using Streamable HTTP, with no authentication. It exposes tools for sound creation, reading designs and accessing the built-in sound library.
Configuration
Remote servers need no local install. Pick your client, then copy the config or install in one click.

From the project READMENotify Sound MCP server

Notify Sound is a hosted MCP server for notification sounds. The assistant designs a sound from layers of tones and noise, and the server returns an editor link. The link opens the sound in the Notify Sound editor, where the user plays, tweaks and downloads it. A library of built-in sounds serves as starting points.

Tools
create_sound(Create a sound): Build a notification sound from your own layer design and get an editor link for it. The link opens the sound in the editor, where the user plays, tweaks and downloads it. Returns the link, the stored sound and warnings for any value that was out of range, rounded or ignored. Read get_sound_guide first.read_sound(Read a share link): Turn a share link (or the code after #s=) back into the sound design, to change it and call create_sound again.list_library_sounds(List built-in sounds): List the built-in sounds by group, or search them by name. Without arguments it lists every group with its sound names. Use a close built-in sound as a starting point.get_library_sound(Get a built-in sound): Get the full design of a built-in sound and its editor link, to use as a starting point for create_sound.get_sound_guide(Sound design guide): How sounds are built: layers, envelope, pitch, timing, noise, levels and effects, with example designs. Read it once before designing.
Example prompts
- "Make a soft two-note chime for a new message."
- "Start from Tri-Tone and make it brighter."
- "Design a coin pickup sound for my game."

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.
An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
