Tools
10| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| location | string | Yes | Destination — marina, city, island, country. Fuzzy matched. Examples: 'Lefkada', 'Croatia'. |
| search | string | No | Boat NAME, or the MODEL alone ("4.2", "Oceanis 46", "Helia 44"). Never put the make here — make and model go together in `makemodel`. |
| boat_type | enum | No | Type of boatsailboat | catamaran | motorboat | gulet | yacht | rib | other |
| makemodel | string | No | Make and model together, plain text, exactly as the guest said it: "Bali 4.2", "Fountaine Pajot", "FP 41", "Lagoon". Make alone is fine. Do not split it, do not add punctuation, do not expand acronyms. |
| guests | integer | No | Number of guests |
| date_from | string | No | Start date YYYY-MM-DD |
| date_to | string | No | End date YYYY-MM-DD |
| price_min | number | No | Minimum price per day in EUR |
| price_max | number | No | Max price per DAY in EUR. Use ONLY for an explicit per-day cap; for a whole-trip/weekly budget use total_max instead. |
| total_max | number | No | Max TOTAL charter price for the whole trip in EUR (boat + required extras, for the given guests and dates). Use this whenever the guest gives a total or per-week budget, e.g. "under €5000 for the week". Needs dates to apply. |
| cabins | integer | No | Minimum cabins |
| length_min | integer | No | Minimum length in feet |
| year_min | integer | No | Minimum build year. Example: 2020 |
| features | array | No | Equipment/amenity filters — boats must have ALL listed. Map user phrasing to slugs: "ac"/"air con" → air_conditioning, "genset" → generator, "paddle board" → sup, "hot tub" → jacuzzi, "speakers"/"bluetooth" → sound_system, "gps"/"plotter" → chartplotter. |
| sort | enum | No | Sort orderdeals | price_low | price_high | newest |

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.
An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
