mcp-circle is an MCP server for Circle, covering USDC stablecoin wallets, payments, payouts and transfers. It exposes 23 tools for managing these flows and querying balances. It is intended for businesses and developers settling in USDC.

MCP support

This project is an MCP server that exposes Circle wallet, payment, payout, transfer, settlement, chargeback and notification subscription operations as tools for MCP clients.

Configuration

Local server config is the same for every client. Copy it into your client’s MCP config file.

Authentication

Circle uses a Bearer API key for authentication.

Sandbox / Testing

Circle provides a sandbox at api-sandbox.circle.com. Use a sandbox API key for testing.

  1. Go to Circle Developer Portal
  2. Create a developer account
  3. Generate a sandbox API key
  4. Set the CIRCLE_API_KEY environment variable
