Cookie Free Analytics
RemoteAbout Cookie Free Analytics
Cookie Free Analytics is a remote MCP server for viewing cookieless website analytics and monitoring status from an AI app. Its read tools return dashboard totals without visitor hashes, raw IP addresses, or user graphs; available tools depend on the plan.
Key features
- 01View traffic totals for selected periods
- 02Review top pages and traffic sources
- 03Check watched-page availability and incidents
- 04Add a website and retrieve its tracking script
- 05Inspect live activity and funnels on eligible plans
Use cases
- 01Check recent visitor and pageview totals
- 02Find popular pages and traffic sources
- 03Check site uptime and recent incidents
- 04Set up tracking for a website
MCP support
The hosted server exposes analytics, site setup, and monitoring tools to MCP clients at `https://www.cookiefreeanalytics.com/mcp` over Streamable HTTP. Authentication uses OAuth 2.1; a hashed bearer token is also available for scripts.
Configuration
Remote servers need no local install. Pick your client, then copy the config or install in one click.

Remote Model Context Protocol server for Cookie Free Analytics: cookieless web analytics, EU-hosted, GDPR.
This repository is the public listing (Official MCP Registry, Glama, and install copy). The server itself runs at the product origin. There is nothing to npm install.

See your website visitors without a cookie banner, from your AI app.
- Hobby (free): 5 tools:
get_traffic_pulse,get_top_pages,get_watch_status,add_website,get_tracking_script, with small daily limits. - Starter and Growth: all 13 tools.
The read tools return the same totals as the dashboard. They never return visitor hashes, raw IPs, or a user graph. The only write is add_website (needs the sites:write permission you approve on the consent screen). Nothing deletes data, changes settings, or sends mail.
Install
Paste this URL as a custom connector:
https://www.cookiefreeanalytics.com/mcp
The client starts OAuth 2.1 on cookiefreeanalytics.com (protected-resource metadata, PKCE S256, dynamic client registration). You sign in to Cookie Free Analytics. A Google login on the website is not an MCP token.
Claude
Claude.ai / Claude Desktop: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. URL above. No Client ID or secret.
Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http cookie-free-analytics https://www.cookiefreeanalytics.com/mcp
Cursor
~/.cursor/mcp.json (or project .cursor/mcp.json):
{
"mcpServers": {
"cookie-free-analytics": {
"url": "https://www.cookiefreeanalytics.com/mcp"
}
}
}
VS Code
.vscode/mcp.json or user MCP config. Command Palette: MCP: Add Server.
{
"servers": {
"cookie-free-analytics": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://www.cookiefreeanalytics.com/mcp"
}
}
}
VS Code opens a browser for OAuth on first connect.
Grok
grok.com/connectors → custom connector → the same URL. There is no Grok public catalog entry to search for.
OAuth flow
- The client
GETs RFC 9728 metadata forhttps://www.cookiefreeanalytics.com/mcp. - PKCE S256 + dynamic client registration. You do not paste a Client ID or Client Secret.
- Browser sign-in on cookiefreeanalytics.com (any plan, Hobby included), then Allow on the consent screen. Scopes:
analytics:read,sites:write. - The client calls
POST /mcpwith the access token.
curl and scripts may still send Authorization: Bearer with a hashed token from Plan → Account → Read API (cfa_live_…, shown once). Do not commit that token.

New to MCP?
From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.
An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
