About Rocketship

Rocketship's hosted MCP server lets AI assistants work with customer acquisition and sales activity in a Rocketship workspace. It supports buyer discovery, email campaign management, pipeline review, and monitoring relevant Reddit and Quora conversations, with confirmations for actions that send email or change data.

Key features

  1. 01Find and preview prospective buyers
  2. 02Add people and organize workspace lists
  3. 03Draft email sequences and manage campaigns
  4. 04Review replies, meetings, and sales pipeline
  5. 05Find relevant Reddit and Quora discussions

Use cases

  1. 01Build a list of buyers matching a market description
  2. 02Draft a follow-up sequence without sending it
  3. 03Check replies and pipeline activity for the day
  4. 04Find discussions where potential customers seek a product

MCP support

Rocketship exposes workspace and customer-acquisition tools through a hosted Streamable HTTP MCP server. Clients connect using OAuth 2.1; tool metadata identifies read-only and potentially destructive actions so clients can request confirmation.

Configuration

Remote servers need no local install. Pick your client, then copy the config or install in one click.

Copy install command
Claude CodeTerminal
Cursor.cursor/mcp.json
VS Code.vscode/mcp.json
Claude Desktopclaude_desktop_config.json
Windsurf~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json

Run commands in a terminal; paste JSON into the client’s MCP config and restart. Servers that need sign-in will prompt on first connect.

Rocketship MCP server

Rocketship is the customer acquisition engine. It gets you customers, then runs your business. It finds buyers, emails them from your own Gmail, follows up, answers replies and books the meeting, then keeps every reply, meeting and deal in one place. This MCP server lets an AI assistant (GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and any other MCP client) do that work inside your Rocketship workspace.

  • Server URL: https://deployrocketship.com/mcp
  • Transport: Streamable HTTP
  • Sign-in: OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration. Your client opens a Rocketship sign-in page; there is no API key to copy.
  • Registry name: com.deployrocketship/rocketship
  • Website: https://deployrocketship.com

This repository holds the documentation for the hosted server. The server itself runs at the URL above; there is nothing to install.

What you can ask

  • "Find owners of dental practices in Austin, Texas and show me a few."
  • "How many marketing directors at software companies in New York could I sell to?"
  • "Add the first ten to my workspace and put them on a list called Austin dentists."
  • "Write a three-email sequence for that list and keep it as a draft."
  • "Who replied this week, and what's in my pipeline?"
  • "What needs my attention in Rocketship today?"
  • "Find Dana Whitfield at northwind.example and add them to my workspace."
  • "Show me Reddit and Quora conversations I could reply to."

get_todayA summary of today: what needs attention, replies waiting, emails sent, meetings booked.No

list_workspacesLists the workspaces you can use.No

Every tool declares readOnlyHint, destructiveHint and openWorldHint, so clients can ask before anything that changes data or sends email.

Set it up

GitHub Copilot in VS Code

Add this to .vscode/mcp.json (or your user settings), then start the server from the MCP view and sign in when asked:

{
  "servers": {
    "rocketship": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://deployrocketship.com/mcp"
    }
  }
}
Claude

Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector, and paste https://deployrocketship.com/mcp. Details: https://deployrocketship.com/claude

ChatGPT

Search for Rocketship in the ChatGPT apps directory, or see https://deployrocketship.com/chatgpt

Cursor and other MCP clients

Add a remote (HTTP) server with the URL https://deployrocketship.com/mcp. Cursor has a one-click button at https://deployrocketship.com/claude

Accounts and plans

You sign in with your Rocketship account; new users can create one while connecting. Counting and previewing buyers is free. Adding people, writing sequences and sending need a Rocketship plan (https://deployrocketship.com/pricing). Emails always go out from your own connected Gmail, within daily sending limits, with one-click unsubscribe, and stop for anyone who replies, books or unsubscribes.

Privacy and support

You can disconnect any client at any time in Rocketship Settings.

New to MCP?

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.

An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
