About esimgomobile — Travel eSIM Tools

esimgomobile MCP Server provides travel eSIM catalogs, connectivity information, and trip-planning tools for travelers, agents, and developers. Its plan data comes from the published catalog; order validation is a dry run and does not place or charge for an order.

Key features

  1. 01Find plans, prices, and coverage
  2. 02Recommend and compare plans for itineraries
  3. 03Check device compatibility and carrier locks
  4. 04Run network connectivity diagnostics
  5. 05Look up country, airport, and Wi-Fi information
  6. 06Get installation guides and troubleshooting

Use cases

  1. 01Plan data needs and eSIMs for multi-country trips
  2. 02Compare travel eSIMs with carrier roaming costs
  3. 03Check device and destination coverage before departure
  4. 04Troubleshoot eSIM or public Wi-Fi connectivity

MCP support

It provides an MCP server over Streamable HTTP without an API key. Clients can call tools for plan lookup, trip planning, connectivity checks, and dry-run order validation; placing orders, provisioning, and QR delivery are not exposed.

Configuration

Remote servers need no local install. Pick your client, then copy the config or install in one click.

Copy install command

Cursor.cursor/mcp.json
VS Code.vscode/mcp.json

Windsurf~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json

Run commands in a terminal; paste JSON into the client’s MCP config and restart. Servers that need sign-in will prompt on first connect.

esimgomobile MCP Server

esimgomobile

Travel eSIM tools, plan catalog and trip planning for agents and developers.

Plan data is read live from esimgomobile's published catalog (5-minute cache) with a labeled, versioned-snapshot fallback. esimgomobile.com/pricing is authoritative. Read-only: order validation is a dry-run — no order is placed and nothing is charged. Supplier-backed operations (order creation, provisioning, QR delivery) are intentionally not exposed.

New to MCP?

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.

An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
