About earth

earth is a local stdio adapter for developers and agents that need Mireye Earth's geospatial data through MCP. It forwards requests to Mireye's API and exposes a cached field catalog, without bundling the geospatial backend.

Key features

  1. 01Ask location-based questions
  2. 02Fetch named geospatial fields
  3. 03Geocode addresses and look up parcels
  4. 04Request missing fields and check status
  5. 05Read field catalog resources
  6. 06Use workflow prompts for site analysis

Use cases

  1. 01Check flood or wildfire signals for a location
  2. 02Retrieve elevation and slope for coordinates
  3. 03Look up a parcel from an address or APN
  4. 04Request data fields absent from the catalog

MCP support

Exposes six tools, catalog resources and workflow prompts to MCP clients. This package uses local stdio; Mireye also offers a hosted remote MCP endpoint over Streamable HTTP with OAuth.

Configuration

Remote servers need no local install. Pick your client, then copy the config or install in one click.

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.

An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
