About Record Meeting
Record Meeting is a hosted MCP server for people who want to search and manage recordings from online meetings. It returns speaker-labelled transcripts and AI notes, but does not start recordings.
Key features
- 01Search and filter recordings
- 02Retrieve meeting notes and details
- 03Read speaker-labelled transcripts
- 04Manage names, notes, and sharing links
- 05Browse teams, folders, and members
Use cases
- 01Find decisions from a team meeting
- 02Review action items from a customer call
- 03Read a specific meeting transcript
- 04Create a recording share link
MCP support
The hosted server connects to MCP clients over Streamable HTTP with OAuth 2.1 or an API key. It exposes tools for searching, reading, updating, sharing, and deleting accessible recordings.
Configuration
Remote servers need no local install. Pick your client, then copy the config or install in one click.
https://api.recordmeeting.com/mcpclaude mcp add --transport http com-recordmeeting-recordmeeting https://api.recordmeeting.com/mcp{"mcpServers":{"com-recordmeeting-recordmeeting":{"type":"http","url":"https://api.recordmeeting.com/mcp"}}}Open in Cursor{"servers":{"com-recordmeeting-recordmeeting":{"type":"http","url":"https://api.recordmeeting.com/mcp"}}}Open in VS Code{"mcpServers":{"com-recordmeeting-recordmeeting":{"type":"http","url":"https://api.recordmeeting.com/mcp"}}}{"mcpServers":{"com-recordmeeting-recordmeeting":{"serverUrl":"https://api.recordmeeting.com/mcp"}}}Run commands in a terminal; paste JSON into the client’s MCP config and restart. Servers that need sign-in will prompt on first connect.

From the project README
Record Meeting MCP server
Record Meeting records your Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams and other online meetings, transcribes them with speaker names and writes AI meeting notes. Its hosted MCP server lets your AI assistant work with those recordings: ask what a team decided, who owns which action item, or what a customer asked for, and the assistant finds the right meeting and answers from its notes and transcript.
Server URL: https://api.recordmeeting.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP, OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration)
There is nothing to install or run. Point your client at the URL, sign in to Record Meeting in the browser window that opens, and approve the scopes on the consent page. You can revoke access at any time in Record Meeting under Settings, Connected agents.

| Tool | What it does |

About this repository
This repository holds the client manifests for the hosted server: server.json for the official MCP Registry, .claude-plugin/ for Claude Code, .cursor-plugin/ and mcp.json for Cursor, and gemini-extension.json for Gemini CLI. The server itself runs at api.recordmeeting.com and is not part of this repository.

New to MCP?
From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.
An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
