From the project READMESiglata MCP
Software for your AI: company files, spreadsheets and rules, with per-person access and history.
Siglata is made by Siglata Tecnologia Ltda, based in Franca, Brazil. It gives your AI (ChatGPT, Codex, Claude Code or any MCP-compatible agent) the company's files, spreadsheets and ERP exports. Your AI queries workbook cells, searches PDF, Word and PowerPoint text, and saves spreadsheet changes as a new edition of the file, keeping the previous one.
This repository holds the public listing for the server: the registry manifest and the setup guide. The server itself is hosted by Siglata and its code is not published here.

What the agent gets
One tool per operation. Each tool has a title and says whether it only reads or changes something. tools/list shows only the tools your grant may call.
- Upload, find, read, rename, move and trash files and folders, and create one-time download links.
- Query workbook cells with SQL and save changes as a new edition of the file.
- Search and read PDF, Word and PowerPoint documents.
- Keep records in the company's tables, with revisions and history.
- Invite people and manage roles in the organization.
Your AI works with the access of the person who signed in, and every step is recorded.
Each connection is bound to one organization and one person. It expires after 30 days without a call.

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.
An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
