About Vmotif
Vmotif is a node-based design canvas MCP server for AI agents to read and edit canvases, generate media and code, and run saved workflows. Outputs appear on the canvas alongside their prompts and references.
Key features
- 01Read and edit design canvases
- 02Generate images, video, and code
- 03Generate SVG, shaders, and HTML screens
- 04Run saved workflows
Use cases
- 01Create visual assets on a canvas
- 02Modify an existing design canvas
- 03Run saved creative workflows
MCP support
Clients connect to its hosted Streamable HTTP MCP server at https://vmotif.com/api/mcp; first use requires OAuth 2.1 sign-in.
Configuration
Remote servers need no local install. Pick your client, then copy the config or install in one click.

Details
From the project READMEVmotif MCP
Connect your agent to Vmotif, the node-based design canvas. Your agent can read and edit canvases, generate images, video, code, SVG, shaders and HTML screens, and run saved workflows. Every result lands on a canvas next to the prompt and references that made it.
This repository packages the hosted server for plugin marketplaces. The server itself runs at:

Plans and cost
Requires a Vmotif Pro, Team or Enterprise plan. Generations, captures, site scrapes and workflow runs spend your plan's GPU wallet; reading canvases, models and usage is free. If you belong to more than one workspace, the agent asks which one to bill.

New to MCP?
From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.
An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
