About Xevol

Xevol is a hosted MCP server for agents that need to search and read contacts, companies, and deals in one Xevol Workspace. It supports several MCP clients while keeping changes under human control.

Key features

  1. 01Search contacts, companies, and deals
  2. 02Read data from one Workspace
  3. 03OAuth 2.1 sign-in
  4. 04Revoke connected agents in Settings

Use cases

  1. 01Look up a contact before outreach
  2. 02Review company and deal details
  3. 03Connect an agent to a Xevol Workspace

MCP support

Exposes read-only search and read access to contacts, companies, and deals through an MCP endpoint. Its separate listed endpoint is also read-only.

Configuration

Remote servers need no local install. Pick your client, then copy the config or install in one click.

Xevol MCP server

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Claude Code or pi to one Xevol Workspace. Your agent reads and drafts there. A person approves, sends, publishes and deletes.

This repository holds documentation only. The server runs at xevol.com; its source is private.

Connect

Coding agents (claude, codex or pi):

npx xevol connect claude

The command shows a sign-in code. Approve it in any browser and pick a Workspace. npx xevol connect other prints the URL and header for any other MCP client.

Apps that accept an MCP server URL, such as ChatGPT or Claude:

https://xevol.com/api/mcp

Directory listings use a read-only address. It searches and reads contacts, companies and deals in one Workspace, and changes nothing. A sign-in here gives a token that works on this address only:

https://xevol.com/api/mcp/listed

How it works

  • Sign-in: OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and dynamic client registration, over streamable HTTP.
  • Scope: one Workspace per connection, fixed when you approve. The agent acts with your rights there.
  • Paid work: anything the agent starts uses that Workspace's credits.
  • Lifetime: a connection lasts six months, then you sign in again.
  • Control: Settings lists each connected agent. Remove one and its token stops working.

You need a Xevol account. See pricing.

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.

An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
