About Layrcake

Layrcake is hosted go-to-market infrastructure for AI agents, combining lead discovery, company research, email verification, intent signals, and campaign workflows. It uses prepaid credits and requires human approval for actions that send emails or purchase capacity.

Key features

  1. 01Find and enrich business leads
  2. 02Verify work email deliverability
  3. 03Research companies and buying signals
  4. 04Draft campaigns and add recipients
  5. 05Require approval before sending

Use cases

  1. 01Build a prospect list by role or industry
  2. 02Check email deliverability before outreach
  3. 03Identify companies showing buying signals
  4. 04Prepare and review an outbound campaign

MCP support

Exposes lead, company research, email verification, signal, and campaign tools through a hosted Streamable HTTP MCP endpoint. OAuth 2.1 authenticates users, and email sends or capacity purchases require human approval.

Configuration

Remote servers need no local install. Pick your client, then copy the config or install in one click.

Layrcake MCP server

Layrcake is go-to-market infrastructure for AI agents: one MCP server and API that lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Codex find leads, verify emails, read buying signals and run approved campaigns, behind one prepaid credit balance.

Tools (22)

ToolWhat it doesBilling
find_leadsSearch 200M+ B2B contacts by title, location, industry, company size or domainper lead returned
find_companiesDiscover companies by hiring activity, technologies in use, or lookalikesper company

prospect_pictureOne picture of a person, their company, or both: role, recent activity, signalsper call
setup_sendingProvision warmed sending domains and mailboxes (quote → human approval)credits, approved in console
create_campaignDraft a sequence with variables and recipients; drafts never sendfree
add_leadsAdd recipients to a draft campaign through the suppression-safe importerfree
launch_campaignPreview → human approval in console → real sendsfree

reply_to_threadPreview → human approval → send an in-thread replyfree
get_me / get_usage / get_operation / get_requestIdentity, balance and usage, job and request statusfree

Every tool returns the outcome and the credits it charged. Free reads run without prompting; tools that spend credits or change campaign data are annotated so hosts ask first; anything that sends email or buys capacity always needs a signed-in human to approve at a link the tool returns.

Grok Build

Open /marketplace in Grok Build, find Layrcake, and install it. On first connection, complete the Layrcake sign-in and consent flow in your browser; new accounts are free with 300 credits and no card. The plugin contains no API key or local executable.

Network access and permissions
  • https://mcp.layrcake.dev/mcp — Layrcake's hosted Streamable HTTP MCP endpoint. The same host serves OAuth discovery metadata at /.well-known/oauth-protected-resource.
  • https://api.layrcake.dev — Layrcake's OAuth authorization server (dynamic client registration, token issuance, refresh), discovered from the MCP metadata.
  • https://app.layrcake.dev — the browser sign-in and consent page, and the console where launches, replies and purchases are approved.

Authentication uses your Layrcake account through browser-based OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. Grok sends the resulting bearer token to the hosted server; the server scopes every tool to your workspace. Six tools are read-only (get_me, get_usage, get_operation, get_request, get_replies, get_reply). The other thirteen are annotated destructive: seven spend prepaid credits against live data providers, three change campaign data, and three (setup_sending, launch_campaign, reply_to_thread) only return a preview and an approval link — nothing is bought or sent until a signed-in human approves in the console. No token or credential is bundled with this plugin.

New to MCP?

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.

An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
