Environment variables to set
SEEKRIT_CLIENT_IDMachine (M2M) client id from POST https://mcp.seekrit.dev/signup — mints an admin token automatically, no separate token to copy.
SEEKRIT_CLIENT_SECRETSecretMachine (M2M) client secret paired with SEEKRIT_CLIENT_ID.
SEEKRIT_TOKENSecretAn existing skt_… service or admin token, if you already have one instead of machine credentials.
SEEKRIT_PASSPHRASESecretPassphrase for the token's private key. Required for tools that decrypt (get_secret, run_command) when authenticating with SEEKRIT_TOKEN.
SEEKRIT_API_URLOverride the API base URL. Defaults to the hosted seekrit API.

Local servers need a runtime on your machine (e.g. Node.js 18+). Config file locations differ by client; see your client’s docs.
