Details
From the project READMEpaygentic
Pay-per-call utility APIs for AI agents, priced and paid for over HTTP 402 via the x402 protocol (USDC on Base). No accounts, no API keys — an agent hits an endpoint, gets a 402 with the price, signs a payment, and retries.

Not investment advice. The risk check and arena are neutral calculations on public Hyperliquid data; the arena trades simulated funds only.

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.
An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
