About Elastica MCP Server

Elastica MCP Server is a Python MCP server for controlling soft, slender-body physics simulations built with Elastica through natural language. It is for users who want to run simulations, adjust parameters remotely, and monitor their state.

Key features

  1. 01Run Elastica simulations through MCP
  2. 02Adjust simulation parameters remotely
  3. 03Monitor simulation state in real time
  4. 04Use Elastica examples, including continuum snake models

Use cases

  1. 01Run a soft-body physics simulation from an MCP client
  2. 02Change simulation parameters remotely
  3. 03Track the state of a running simulation

MCP support

It exposes Elastica simulation controls to MCP clients, including simulation execution, parameter changes, and state monitoring.

Configuration

Local server config is the same for every client. Copy it into your client’s MCP config file.

No install method listed yet

We haven’t collected a package or remote endpoint for this server. Follow the instructions in the project README.

New to MCP?

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.

An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
