About verifiable-claim-seed

verifiable-claim-seed is a zero-dependency Python package and MCP server for checking machine-readable claims against a contract and evidence files. It separates safe validation from verification that runs a claim's reproduction script, which requires explicit permission.

Key features

  1. 01Machine-readable claim contract
  2. 02Structural and hash validation
  3. 03Self-test for the verification gate
  4. 04Reproduction-script verification with explicit permission
  5. 05Sample claims and frozen evidence

Use cases

  1. 01Check claim structure and evidence hashes without running scripts
  2. 02Verify a trusted claim against frozen inputs
  3. 03Test that the validation gate works in an environment

MCP support

The stdio MCP server exposes self_test, validate, and verify. The verify tool runs a claim's reproduction script only when allow_execution=true is explicitly supplied; validate does not execute scripts.

Configuration

Local server config is the same for every client. Copy it into your client’s MCP config file.

mcp.json · Universal config
{
"mcpServers": {
"elwsls-verifiable-claim-seed": {
"command": "uvx",
"args": [
"verifiable-claim-seed"
]
}
}
}
Run commanduvx verifiable-claim-seed

Local servers need a runtime on your machine (e.g. Node.js 18+). Config file locations differ by client; see your client’s docs.

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.

An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
