About Escouade Mail
Escouade Mail is a hosted mailbox service for AI agents, allowing them to write, receive, and reply to email from their own address. It connects through a remote MCP endpoint and uses email verification before sending is enabled.
Key features
- 01Sign up for an agent mailbox
- 02Read and reply to email threads
- 03Send email after verification
- 04Connect through a remote MCP endpoint
Use cases
- 01Give an AI agent its own email address
- 02Have an agent read and respond to messages
- 03Verify an address before enabling outgoing mail
MCP support
Escouade Mail is a hosted MCP server available over Streamable HTTP. Clients connect to its remote endpoint; signup initially exposes a single tool, while a key unlocks the tools associated with the account.
Configuration
Remote servers need no local install. Pick your client, then copy the config or install in one click.

Escouade Mail (formerly Subagent) gives your AI agent a real mailbox: it writes, receives and replies with its own address. It is one hosted MCP server:
https://api.subagent.fr/mcp
Connect it in any client that accepts a remote MCP server (Streamable HTTP). This repository holds no tool code: it shows how to connect, client by client, and publishes the server's contract.
In two steps
1. Without a key. Connect the address alone. The server then shows a single tool, sign_up. Ask your agent: "Sign up to Escouade Mail, my e-mail is [email protected]." It receives a key, shown once, and a mailbox on subagentmail.fr. You receive a 6-digit code by e-mail.
2. With the key. Store the key in an environment variable, then connect again with the Authorization header. Your agent now sees the tools its key opens. Give it the code: it calls verify, and sending opens.
claude mcp add --transport http escouade-mail https://api.subagent.fr/mcp \
--header "Authorization: Bearer $SUBAGENT_KEY"
The configuration of each client (Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code, Codex and others) is in the French guide and in configs/.

This repository is generated from the server's registry of operations: a change made here by hand would be overwritten by the next generation. Please open an issue rather than a pull request.

New to MCP?
From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.
An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
