Fakto.app — MCP Server for wFirma & Fakturownia

Fakto.app is a hosted Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that connects AI assistants — Claude, ChatGPT, n8n, Make and any other MCP client — to the two most popular Polish accounting platforms:

Issue invoices, look up contractors, analyze finances, check stock levels or forecast cash flow — in plain language, straight from your AI assistant.

This repository contains documentation, examples and prompts for the hosted service at fakto.app. The server itself is a managed, closed-source service — you don't need to run anything yourself.

Both support OAuth 2.0 with Dynamic Client Registration (RFC 7591) — Claude and ChatGPT connect without any manual client configuration.

Quick start

1. Create an account

Sign up at fakto.app — there is a free plan (no credit card) — and connect your own wFirma or Fakturownia API keys in the dashboard.

2. Connect your client

Claude (Desktop or claude.ai)

  1. Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector
  2. URL: https://fakto.app/wfirma/stream (or /fakturownia/stream)
  3. Click Connect — you'll be taken through OAuth and asked for your API keys once.

ChatGPT

  1. Settings → Connectors → add MCP server
  2. Server URL: https://fakto.app/wfirma/stream
  3. Discovery URL: https://fakto.app/.well-known/openid-configuration
  4. Leave Client ID/Secret empty — ChatGPT registers itself automatically (RFC 7591).

n8n / Make / custom automations

Use a Bearer token generated in the fakto.app dashboard, or pass credentials in a header:

AI accountant prompt

prompts/asystent-ksiegowy-pl.md contains a battle-tested Polish system prompt for an AI accounting agent (n8n AI Agent, Claude Projects, custom GPTs) — Polish VAT rates, tax deadlines, response formats and safety rules included.

Security

  • Credentials are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and never logged.
  • TLS everywhere; servers hosted in the EU; GDPR-compliant.
  • You connect your own wFirma/Fakturownia API keys — data flows directly between the AI client, Fakto.app and your accounting system.
