About AutoGenesis Appium

AutoGenesis Appium is a stdio MCP runtime for BDD automation through Appium on iOS, Android, and macOS. It is aimed at teams running automation with an explicit business-project configuration; generated code requires preview identity and digest verification plus approval.

Key features

  1. 01Run BDD automation through Appium
  2. 02Support iOS, Android, and macOS
  3. 03Launch as a stdio runtime
  4. 04Require identity, digest, and approval for generated code

Use cases

  1. 01Run BDD automation in an Android project
  2. 02Specify project configuration for iOS or macOS automation

MCP support

It runs as a stdio MCP server, exposing Appium automation capabilities to MCP clients. Startup requires a platform, configuration file, and business-project root.

Configuration

Local server config is the same for every client. Copy it into your client’s MCP config file.

mcp.json · Universal config
{
"mcpServers": {
"fsq-lab-autogenesis-appium": {
"command": "uvx",
"args": [
"autogenesis-appium-mcp"
]
}
}
}
Run commanduvx autogenesis-appium-mcp

Local servers need a runtime on your machine (e.g. Node.js 18+). Config file locations differ by client; see your client’s docs.

AutoGenesis Appium MCP

Installable stdio MCP runtime for BDD automation on iOS, Android, and macOS through Appium.

The runtime requires autogenesis-agent-contract==2.0.0. Launch it with an explicit configuration and business-project root:

autogenesis-appium-mcp --platform android --config /absolute/business/appium.json --project-root /absolute/business

Canonical Registry metadata is in server.json. Generated-code confirmation requires the exact preview identity and digest plus explicit approval.

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.

An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
