About genesis-agent-mcp
genesis-agent-mcp exposes paid AI-agent APIs for release checks, bounded workflows, and other tasks. Calls use x402 v2 payments in USDC on Base, with local stdio and hosted Streamable HTTP transports.
Key features
- 01Release compatibility preflight
- 02Bounded workflow validation and execution
- 03Asset and evidence research tools
- 04Agent and MCP server audits
- 05Per-call x402 USDC payments
Use cases
- 01Check API or schema changes before release
- 02Validate or run a bounded HTTP workflow
- 03Request cited claims from supplied URLs
MCP support
Exposes five flagship tools through stdio or hosted Streamable HTTP. Paid calls return an x402 payment challenge unless a valid payment signature is supplied.
Configuration
Local server config is the same for every client. Copy it into your client’s MCP config file.
We haven’t collected a package or remote endpoint for this server. Follow the instructions in the project README.
Tools
Local servers expose tools only once running on your machine, and the maintainer has not provided a tool list.
Details
From the project READMEGENESIS Agent Tools
Pay-per-call AI-agent APIs on Base USDC (x402 v2). No account, no API key, no
subscription. Every paid endpoint returns HTTP 402 with the payment challenge;
sign the quoted USDC amount to the canonical Exodus treasury and retry to receive
the premium result.

Release Guardian (primary)
Pay-per-call x402 cross-contract preflight for MCP tools, common OpenAPI breakages, GraphQL, SDK exports and JSON Schema changes before release.
- Endpoint:
POST /api/flagships/release-guardian - Input:
{ "tier": "quick", "input": { "previous": …, "current": … } } - Output:
SAFE/RISKY/BREAKING/UNKNOWN/UNSUPPORTED - Price: Quick $0.001 · Deep $0.019 (USDC)
- Network: Base (
eip155:8453) · USDC · non-custodial (EIP-3009)
curl -sS -D - -X POST \
https://genesis-agent-tools.genesisagenttools.workers.dev/api/flagships/release-guardian \
-H 'content-type: application/json' \
-d '{"tier":"quick","input":{"previous":{"paths":{"/users":{},"/users/{id}":{}}},"current":{"paths":{"/users":{}}}}}'
# → HTTP 402 with a base64 PAYMENT-REQUIRED header; sign & retry to get SAFE/RISKY/BREAKING

GitHub Action
- uses: genesiscode2026/genesis-release-guardian@v1
with:
previous-spec: spec/openapi.baseline.json
current-spec: spec/openapi.json
mode: quick
fail-on: breaking
max-spend-usd: '0.01'
private-key: ${{ secrets.X402_PRIVATE_KEY }}
The action reads only the two spec files you supply, enforces a spending ceiling
against the live 402 challenge before signing, and never holds your key. Live demo:
genesiscode2026/release-guardian-demo.
MCP
npx -y genesis-agent-mcp
Two transports for the same five flagship tools:
- Local / package (stdio):
npx -y genesis-agent-mcp - Hosted Streamable HTTP:
https://genesis-agent-tools.genesisagenttools.workers.dev/mcp(initialize/tools/list/tools/call; stateless JSON-RPC; paid tools return the x402 challenge unless the request carries a validPAYMENT-SIGNATUREheader)
A thin buyer-side MCP adapter exposes Release Guardian + Workflow Runner (and the
other flagships) as tools for Cline / Claude / Cursor. Buyer key via
X402_PRIVATE_KEY (never committed); per-call ceiling + session budget built in.
Config: mcp/README.md.
Other flagships
| Flagship | What it does (buyer intent) | Endpoint | Quick | Deep |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Workflow Runner | Validate or run a bounded HTTP/JSON workflow with a deterministic trace. | POST /api/flagships/workflow-runner | 0.005 | 0.035 |
| Asset Intelligence | Verify a crypto asset's live multi-source price, freshness, and on-chain owner. | POST /api/flagships/asset-intelligence | 0.005 | 0.025 |
| Research & Evidence | Extract cited claims and contradictions from supplied URLs. | POST /api/flagships/research-evidence | 0.005 | 0.040 |
| Agent Assurance | Audit an agent or MCP server for readiness, observed risk, and evidence. | POST /api/flagships/agent-assurance | 0.005 | 0.029 |
All prices in USDC. Release Guardian Quick is the $0.001 acquisition wedge; all other Quick ≤ $0.005 (Agent402 execute); all Deep ≤ $0.040
(execute-plus). Bounded workflow example: examples/workflow-runner/.

An x402 client decodes the 402, signs the EIP-3009 USDC authorization, and retries
with the PAYMENT-SIGNATURE header. See examples/ for runnable curl + JavaScript
(@x402/fetch) buyers — replace only the funded buyer key.
The Agent402 50-settlement gate affects Agent402 auto-dispatch only; direct x402 buyers (these examples) can purchase without Agent402 routing.

Security
No private keys or seed material in this repository. GENESIS never holds buyer
funds and never requests private keys. Report issues via GitHub Issues. See SECURITY.md.
Privacy
The GitHub Action and MCP adapter transmit only the API/schema artifacts you explicitly supply. Nothing else in your repository is read or uploaded; there is no server-side repo cloning, no IP/geolocation persistence, and no analytics trackers. Payment wallet addresses are necessarily public/on-chain.
Support
Use GitHub Issues for product support and private GitHub Security Advisories for vulnerabilities. No personal contact details are required.

New to MCP?
From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.
An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
