About hederaoracle

hederaoracle is an MCP server for DeFi risk and network intelligence on Hedera. Its tools combine Mirror Node data with DeFiLlama and CoinGecko information, including granular HTS token permission analysis.

Key features

  1. 01HBAR ecosystem and account data
  2. 02HTS token permission risk scoring
  3. 03Hedera DeFi protocol health and yields
  4. 04Stablecoin supply and risk data
  5. 05Network statistics and account transactions

Use cases

  1. 01Review risk from HTS token permissions
  2. 02Compare Hedera DeFi protocol yields
  3. 03Check Hedera account activity and balances

MCP support

Exposes nine Hedera data and risk-analysis tools to MCP clients at a live endpoint. No API key is required, according to the README.

Configuration

Remote servers need no local install. Pick your client, then copy the config or install in one click.

Key Feature: HTS Token Key Analysis

Hedera Token Service (HTS) tokens have granular key permissions. hbar_token_info checks all keys:

  • Admin Key — Can modify token properties
  • Freeze Key — Can freeze token transfers
  • Wipe Key — Can wipe token balances
  • Supply Key — Can mint/burn tokens
  • Pause Key — Can pause all operations

Each key impacts the risk score. Tokens with fewer keys = lower risk.

Data Sources

  • Hedera Mirror Node (mainnet.mirrornode.hedera.com) — Accounts, tokens, transactions, network
  • DeFiLlama — TVL, yields, stablecoins, DEX volumes
  • CoinGecko — Prices, market data

New to MCP?

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.

An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
