MCP support
As a hosted MCP server, it gives MCP clients tools to query bunny.net zones, DNS, video, statistics, and billing, along with write tools for cache purges and DNS changes. Users sign in through OAuth and provide their own API key.
Configuration
Remote servers need no local install. Pick your client, then copy the config or install in one click.

Details
From the project READMEbunny.net MCP by usefulapi
Use bunny.net from Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client — inspect pull zones, storage, DNS and video libraries, view stats and billing, and purge caches. Hosted, no local install: connect with your own bunny.net credentials.
Live endpoint: https://bunny-net.usefulapi.io/mcp · Homepage: https://usefulapi.io/bunny-net
Connect
- Claude (claude.ai, Desktop): open Customize → Connectors, click + Add → Add custom connector, and paste
https://bunny-net.usefulapi.io/mcp. - Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http bunny-net https://bunny-net.usefulapi.io/mcp, then run/mcpto log in. - VS Code: Add to VS Code.
- Cursor and other clients: add the URL as a remote MCP server:
{
"mcpServers": {
"bunny-net": {
"url": "https://bunny-net.usefulapi.io/mcp"
}
}
}
Add only the URL. Do not add an Authorization header or an API key to the client config: the server signs you in with OAuth, and the login page asks for your bunny.net credentials.
Step-by-step setup, where to find your credentials, and FAQ: https://usefulapi.io/bunny-net/
On first connect you'll provide your bunny.net account API key (dash.bunny.net → Account settings → API key). They're validated, stored per-user, and scoped to you — no keys in config files.

New to MCP?
From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.
An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
