Tools
20| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| page | integer | No | Page number, starting at 1. |
| sort | array | No | Sort order, e.g. ["name asc"] or ["updated_at desc", "id asc"]. Add "id asc" when paging so the order is deterministic. |
| search | string | No | Free-text search on name, street, work phone, work email, user email or tags. |
| filters | object | No | Extra Current RMS query-engine predicates, sent as q[<key>]=<value> (arrays become q[<key>][]). Examples: {"updated_at_gt": "2026-01-01T00:00:00.000Z"}, {"number_eq": "003664"}, {"status_not_eq": 40}, {"work_email_address_eq": "[email protected]"}, {"asset_number_eq": "ABC-1"}. Unknown predicates are silently ignored by the API. |

| per_page | integer | No | Records per page, 1-100 (default 20). |
| filtermode | string | No | Built-in filter, e.g. all, organisation, contact, venue, user, inactive. |

From the project READMECurrent RMS MCP by usefulapi
Use Current RMS from Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client — browse opportunities, products, stock, availability and invoices, and create members and quotes. Hosted, no local install: connect with your own Current RMS credentials.
Live endpoint: https://current-rms.usefulapi.io/mcp · Homepage: https://usefulapi.io/current-rms
Connect
- Claude (claude.ai, Desktop): open Customize → Connectors, click + Add → Add custom connector, and paste
https://current-rms.usefulapi.io/mcp. - Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http current-rms https://current-rms.usefulapi.io/mcp, then run/mcpto log in. - VS Code: Add to VS Code.
- Cursor and other clients: add the URL as a remote MCP server:
{
"mcpServers": {
"current-rms": {
"url": "https://current-rms.usefulapi.io/mcp"
}
}
}
Add only the URL. Do not add an Authorization header or an API key to the client config: the server signs you in with OAuth, and the login page asks for your Current RMS credentials.
Step-by-step setup, where to find your credentials, and FAQ: https://usefulapi.io/current-rms/
On first connect you'll provide your Current RMS subdomain (the acme in acme.current-rms.com) and an API key (System Setup → Integrations → API).
They're validated, stored per-user, and scoped to you — no keys in config files.

New to MCP?
From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.
An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
