About DialMyCalls MCP by usefulapi

DialMyCalls MCP by usefulapi lets MCP clients manage DialMyCalls contacts and groups and inspect broadcast activity. It also provides tools to create and send text or voice broadcasts, which use credits.

Key features

  1. 01Manage contacts and groups
  2. 02Read broadcast details and recipients
  3. 03Create text-to-speech recordings
  4. 04Send text and voice broadcasts
  5. 05Cancel broadcasts and review incoming texts

Use cases

  1. 01Update contacts and organize groups
  2. 02Inspect broadcast recipients and history
  3. 03Send or cancel an SMS or voice broadcast

MCP support

Exposes DialMyCalls contact, group and broadcast tools to MCP clients through a remote MCP server. Sending text and voice broadcasts is a write action that spends credits.

Configuration

Remote servers need no local install. Pick your client, then copy the config or install in one click.

Connect

  • Claude (claude.ai, Desktop): open Customize → Connectors, click + Add → Add custom connector, and paste https://dialmycalls.usefulapi.io/mcp.
  • Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http dialmycalls https://dialmycalls.usefulapi.io/mcp, then run /mcp to log in.
  • VS Code: Add to VS Code.
  • Cursor and other clients: add the URL as a remote MCP server:
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "dialmycalls": {
      "url": "https://dialmycalls.usefulapi.io/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Add only the URL. Do not add an Authorization header or an API key to the client config: the server signs you in with OAuth, and the login page asks for your DialMyCalls credentials.

Step-by-step setup, where to find your credentials, and FAQ: https://usefulapi.io/dialmycalls/

On first connect you'll paste your DialMyCalls API key (log in, then API Info).

New to MCP?

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.

An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
