As an MCP server, it exposes read tools for Namely profiles, groups, teams, jobs, events, and reports, as well as tools to update profiles, post announcements, and comment. Clients connect through its remote endpoint and provide a site name and Personal Access Token on first connection.

Connect
- Claude (claude.ai, Desktop): open Customize → Connectors, click + Add → Add custom connector, and paste

Add only the URL. Do not add an Authorization header or an API key to the client config: the server signs you in with OAuth, and the login page asks for your Namely credentials.
