About Scalingo MCP by usefulapi
A hosted MCP server for inspecting and operating Scalingo PaaS apps, intended for users of Claude, Cursor, and other MCP clients. It combines read access to app operations and logs with tools for deployment, scaling, restarts, and environment-variable updates.
Key features
- 01Inspect apps, containers, and deployments
- 02Read logs, stats, and app events
- 03Restart and scale apps
- 04Set environment variables
- 05Review account, regions, and add-ons
Use cases
- 01Check app health and recent logs
- 02Scale containers or restart an app

Details
From the project READMEScalingo MCP by usefulapi
Inspect and operate your Scalingo PaaS apps — deploy, scale, restart and read logs — from Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client. Hosted, no local install — connect with your Scalingo API token.
Live endpoint: https://scalingo.usefulapi.io/mcp · Homepage: https://usefulapi.io/scalingo
Connect
- Claude (claude.ai, Desktop): open Customize → Connectors, click + Add → Add custom connector, and paste
https://scalingo.usefulapi.io/mcp. - Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http scalingo https://scalingo.usefulapi.io/mcp, then run/mcpto log in. - VS Code: Add to VS Code.
- Cursor and other clients: add the URL as a remote MCP server:
{
"mcpServers": {
"scalingo": {
"url": "https://scalingo.usefulapi.io/mcp"
}
}
}
Add only the URL. Do not add an Authorization header or an API key to the client config: the server signs you in with OAuth, and the login page asks for your Scalingo credentials.
Step-by-step setup, where to find your credentials, and FAQ: https://usefulapi.io/scalingo/
On first connect you'll paste your Scalingo API token. It's validated, stored per-user, and scoped to you.

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.
An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
