MCP support
Rapier provides a streamable HTTP MCP endpoint that requires no account or key. An agent calls `open` to get the editor URL and reads `rapier://guide` for the available tools.

Remote servers need no local install. Pick your client, then copy the config or install in one click.

Connect an agent
MCP door: https://mcp.rapier.website/door/mcp (streamable HTTP, no account or key). Call open, give the person the returned editor_url, and read rapier://guide. The agent guide lists every tool.

Install one Rapier package per client. The door is io.github.jackskip22/rapier in the MCP Registry and the GitHub MCP Registry.
The agent edits live, with the person there or away. The person sees each change, taps it to see what was there, and can undo it while keeping later edits. Agents read the exact source before editing and keep the person's typing and Will regions.

To serve documents from your own folder or S3-compatible bucket through the same tools, run rapier-server.
Plug-in files
Rapier loads these the first time a document needs one, from https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/jackskip22/[email protected]/<directory>/<file>, and checks each by length and SHA-384. npx [email protected] plugins <directory> copies the reader's into your app (Plug-ins).
