Juhe Exchange Rates MCP Server provides a tool for querying exchange rates between currencies using their three-letter codes. It is for MCP clients that need current currency conversion information and requires a Juhe API key.

Juhe Exchange Rates MCP Server

一个提供实时全球货币汇率查询功能的模型上下文协议（Model Context Protocol）服务器。该服务器使大型语言模型（LLMs）能够获取实时货币汇率情况。

Tools

服务器实现了一个工具:

  • query_exchange_rates: 根据货币的三位字母代码查询两者之间的兑换汇率
    • 需要传入 "from_code"（货币的三位字母货币代码）作为必须的字符串参数。
    • 需要传入 "to_code"（货币的三位字母货币代码）作为必须的字符串参数。

Install

This server requires Python 3.10 or higher. Install dependencies using uv (recommended) or pip

Using uv (recommended)

When using uv no specific installation is needed. We will use uvx to directly run jexchange-mcp-server.

Using PIP

Alternatively you can install jexchange-mcp-server via pip:

pip install jexchange-mcp-server

After installation, you can run it as a script using:

python -m jexchange_mcp_server

Debugging

You can use the MCP inspector to debug the server. For uvx installations:
