About Jprofiler

JProfiler MCP Server connects AI coding assistants to JProfiler for profiling Java applications. It helps developers inspect CPU hotspots, memory allocations, JDBC queries, HTTP calls, and other performance data.

Key features

  1. 01Profile CPU hotspots
  2. 02Inspect memory allocations
  3. 03Analyze JDBC queries
  4. 04Profile HTTP calls
  5. 05Connect through MCP clients

Use cases

  1. 01Find CPU-intensive Java code
  2. 02Investigate memory allocation behavior
  3. 03Examine JDBC or HTTP performance

MCP support

The server exposes JProfiler profiling capabilities to MCP clients. It can be launched with npx and configured in clients such as Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor.

Configuration

Local server config is the same for every client. Copy it into your client’s MCP config file.

mcp.json · Universal config
{
"mcpServers": {
"jprofiler": {
"command": "npx",
"args": [
"-y",
"@ej-technologies/jprofiler-mcp"
]
}
}
}
Run commandnpx -y @ej-technologies/jprofiler-mcp

Local servers need a runtime on your machine (e.g. Node.js 18+). Config file locations differ by client; see your client’s docs.

Packages
npm@ej-technologies/jprofiler-mcp16.3.0

Install MCP Server

Other MCP clients

Use the following npx invocation as the MCP server command in your client's configuration:

npx -y @ej-technologies/jprofiler-mcp@latest

For clients that use a JSON configuration file (Claude Desktop, Antigravity, Windsurf, VS Code, etc.):

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "jprofiler": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y", "@ej-technologies/jprofiler-mcp"]
    }
  }
}

New to MCP?

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.

An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
