About Lightrun MCP Server

Lightrun AI is a collection of reusable skills for investigating runtime issues with Lightrun. It is intended for coding assistants and provides workflows for live debugging, production questions, error remediation, performance diagnosis, and runtime-aware PR review.

Key features

  1. 01Live-runtime investigation with preflight checks
  2. 02Production runtime question answering
  3. 03Error root-cause analysis and remediation
  4. 04Slow execution and latency diagnosis
  5. 05Runtime-informed pull request review

Use cases

  1. 01Collect runtime evidence during debugging
  2. 02Ask about live production values and hit counts
  3. 03Investigate endpoint latency or timeouts
  4. 04Review a pull request using runtime samples

MCP support

The skills require access to the Lightrun MCP server and completed MCP OAuth authorization. The repository includes a Cursor MCP server configuration.

Configuration

Remote servers need no local install. Pick your client, then copy the config or install in one click.

New to MCP?

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.

An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
