About AfterFees
AfterFees is a hosted, read-only MCP server for comparing crypto funding-rate arbitrage across exchanges. It estimates net outcomes using fees, order-book slippage and other stated costs, for assistants analyzing trade opportunities.
Key features
- 01Ranked net arbitrage opportunities
- 02Funding and borrow rate queries
- 03Fee and slippage breakdowns
- 04Historical funding and track record
- 05Transfer, basis and holding analysis
Use cases
- 01Compare long/short pairs at a target size
- 02Estimate entry costs across exchanges
- 03Review historical settled funding
- 04Assess holding periods and break-even
MCP support
It exposes 27 read-only tools to MCP clients over Streamable HTTP at https://afterfees.xyz/mcp. The tools provide market, cost, history and position data; none can place orders or move funds.
Configuration
Remote servers need no local install. Pick your client, then copy the config or install in one click.

Details
From the project READMEAfterFees MCP server
Crypto funding-rate arbitrage for AI assistants, with every number net of fees and order-book slippage.
AfterFees prices ~75,000 long/short pairs across 50 exchanges (CEX, perp DEXs, Hyperliquid HIP-3) and tells you what a trade would actually earn at your size: funding minus taker fees on all four fills, slippage walked on the live order books, borrow interest, stablecoin conversion and holding period. Most screeners show the gross rate spread; once costs and real order-book depth are counted, often only a handful of the tens of thousands of pairs can be opened at $10,000 per side. This server gives your assistant the same numbers as afterfees.xyz.
- Hosted, nothing to install. Streamable HTTP at
https://afterfees.xyz/mcp. - Read-only. 27 tools; none can place an order or move funds.
- No token needed to try it. The anonymous tier answers with exactly what an anonymous visitor of the site sees ($10,000 per side, held 7 days), 60 requests per minute per IP address.
- Neutral. No exchange referral links or listing fees; rankings are not influenced by any exchange.

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.
An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
