About Logseq MCP Server
Logseq MCP Server is a local server-side application for Logseq-related operations, built with the MCP SDK and JavaScript ES modules. Its README describes stdio transport and a REST API-backed client, but does not specify the operations exposed.
Key features
- 01MCP integration via the SDK
- 02Standard input/output transport
- 03REST API requests via axios
- 04Environment configuration with dotenv
- 05Logging with winston
Use cases
- 01Run a local MCP server for Logseq-related operations
- 02Configure server settings through environment variables
- 03Record application activity in logs
MCP support
It uses the MCP SDK and stdio transport to provide a local MCP server. The README does not detail its available tools or resources.
Configuration
Local server config is the same for every client. Copy it into your client’s MCP config file.
We haven’t collected a package or remote endpoint for this server. Follow the instructions in the project README.
Tools
Local servers expose tools only once running on your machine, and the maintainer has not provided a tool list.

Overview
The logseq-mcp-server is a server-side application designed for local use with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) using the @modelcontextprotocol/sdk. It communicates via the standard input/output (stdio) MCP transport, providing backend support for Logseq-related operations and leveraging modern JavaScript features with ES modules.
Features
- Integration with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) via
@modelcontextprotocol/sdk. - REST API support using
axios. - Environment variable management with
dotenv. - Logging capabilities powered by
winston.

New to MCP?
From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.
An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
