About Email Server
Mailer MCP is an MCP server for sending email through SMTP, intended for workflows that need email actions from an MCP client. SMTP settings come from environment variables, allowing different SMTP relay services to be configured.
Key features
- 01Send email to a recipient
- 02Send a test email
- 03Configure SMTP with environment variables
- 04Error handling and logging
Use cases
- 01Send notification email from an MCP client
- 02Verify SMTP configuration
MCP support
The server exposes send_email and test_email tools to MCP clients for sending messages and checking email configuration.
Configuration
Local server config is the same for every client. Copy it into your client’s MCP config file.
We haven’t collected a package or remote endpoint for this server. Follow the instructions in the project README.
Tools
Local servers expose tools only once running on your machine, and the maintainer has not provided a tool list.

An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
