MRVN DE Open Data MCP
RemoteAbout MRVN DE Open Data MCP
MRVN DE Open Data MCP is a remote MCP server for AI agents that need to search German procurement, energy-unit and EV-charging data. Its tools support filtered searches, individual records, aggregate statistics and data-health checks; calls require a RapidAPI key.
Key features
- 01Search public procurement notices
- 02Filter MaStR energy units
- 03Search EV charging stations
- 04Retrieve individual records
- 05View statistics and data health
Use cases
- 01Find tenders by keyword, region or deadline
- 02Locate energy units by technology or capacity
- 03Search chargers by location, power or plug
- 04Check dataset freshness and aggregates
MCP support
Exposes tools for German public procurement notices, MaStR energy units and EV charging stations to MCP clients over remote Streamable HTTP. Tool calls require a RapidAPI key.
Configuration
Remote servers need no local install. Pick your client, then copy the config or install in one click.

From the project READMEMRVN DE Open Data MCP
By MRVN.
Remote MCP server (Streamable HTTP, stateless) giving AI agents access to German open data:
- Public procurement notices from oeffentlichevergabe.de – search by keyword, CPV code, Bundesland, value, deadline.
- Energy units from the Marktstammdatenregister (MaStR) of the Bundesnetzagentur – solar, wind, storage etc., by location, technology, capacity.
- EV charging stations from the Ladesäulenregister of the Bundesnetzagentur – by PLZ, Bundesland, power (kW), plug type, operator, radius or bounding box.

tools/list works without a key. Tool calls require your own RapidAPI key, subscribed to
DE Tender Query, DE MaStR Units and/or
DE Ladesäulen Query. Each has a free BASIC plan (100 requests/day); paid plans exist for higher volume. Your key is forwarded only to the RapidAPI gateway and is not stored.

worker.src.js is the Cloudflare Pages worker (JSON-RPC over POST /mcp, protocol versions 2025-06-18 / 2025-03-26 / 2024-11-05). build-tools.mjs injects tool definitions (tools.generated.json); smoke.mjs runs a smoke test against a URL.
OpenAPI specs (REST via RapidAPI)
The three backing REST APIs are described in openapi/ (OpenAPI 3.0.3, server = RapidAPI gateway, header X-RapidAPI-Key):

New to MCP?
From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.
An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
