MCP Batch Operations Server
LocalAbout MCP Batch Operations Server
MCP Batch Operations Server is an MCP server for developers who need to run file operations, code analysis, and transformations in batches. It combines configurable parallel execution with grouping, retries, and configurable error handling.
Key features
- 01Concurrent execution with limits
- 02Grouping operations by type
- 03Continue or stop on errors
- 04Retries for failed operations
- 05Detailed operation logs
- 06File, analysis, and transformation batches
Use cases
- 01Create or update multiple files
- 02Analyze several files for complexity or dependencies
- 03Run batches while retrying failed operations
MCP support
It exposes batch file operations, code analysis, and transformations to MCP clients.
Configuration
Local server config is the same for every client. Copy it into your client’s MCP config file.
We haven’t collected a package or remote endpoint for this server. Follow the instructions in the project README.
Tools
Local servers expose tools only once running on your machine, and the maintainer has not provided a tool list.
Details
From the project READMEMCP Batch Operations Server
An efficient Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for executing batch operations with parallel processing, smart grouping, and comprehensive error handling.
Features
- Parallel Processing: Execute multiple operations concurrently with configurable limits
- Smart Grouping: Automatically group operations by type for optimal performance
- Error Resilience: Continue processing on errors or stop immediately based on configuration
- Retry Logic: Built-in retry mechanism for failed operations
- Comprehensive Logging: Detailed operation logs for debugging and monitoring
- Multiple Operation Types: File operations, code analysis, and transformations

Usage Examples
Basic File Operations
await batch_file_operations({
operations: [
{ type: "create", path: "/tmp/file1.txt", content: "Hello" },
{ type: "create", path: "/tmp/file2.txt", content: "World" }
],
options: { maxConcurrent: 10 }
});
Batch Code Analysis
await batch_code_analysis({
files: ["/src/app.js", "/src/utils.js"],
analyses: ["complexity", "dependencies"]
});
Development

New to MCP?
From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.
An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
