About Mcp Csharp Sdk Client
Mcp Csharp Sdk Client is a sample C# MCP client intended for the x64Dbg MCP Server. It connects an AI model to the server to issue commands for debugging, with Gemini or Anthropic services configured in the program.
Key features
- 01Sample C# MCP client
- 02Connect to x64Dbg MCP Server
- 03Configure Gemini or Anthropic AI
- 04Interrupt the next action with Shift
Use cases
- 01Start debugging tasks through x64Dbg
- 02Adapt the prompt to a debugging task
- 03Interrupt an AI action to enter commands manually
MCP support
The client is expected to connect to the x64Dbg MCP Server and issue commands to start debugging.
Configuration
Local server config is the same for every client. Copy it into your client’s MCP config file.
We haven’t collected a package or remote endpoint for this server. Follow the instructions in the project README.
Tools
Local servers expose tools only once running on your machine, and the maintainer has not provided a tool list.
Details
From the project READMEThis is a sample C# MCP client designed for use with the x64Dbg MCP Server.
To get started, either import the necessary environment variables or hardcode the values directly into the following lines:
Line 21 (QuickstartClient\Program.cs): string? GeminiAIKey = Environment.GetEnvironmentVariable("GeminiAIKey");
Line 22 (QuickstartClient\Program.cs): string? AnthropicAIKey = Environment.GetEnvironmentVariable("ANTHROPIC_API_KEY");
Line 23 (QuickstartClient\Program.cs): string? MCPServerIP = Environment.GetEnvironmentVariable("MCPServerIP");
Comment out the unused services (Gemini/AnthropicAI) Line 24 GeminiAI MyGem = new GeminiAI(GeminiAIKey); Line 25 AnthropicAI MyClaude = new AnthropicAI(AnthropicAIKey);
Adjust like 98 and 99 to use the selected service.
After setting the values, update the prompt to reflect your intended use case (also located in Program.cs), then run the application.
While running, your AI model will automatically begin executing tasks. You may hold Shift to interrupt its next action and manually type commands if needed.
The client is expected to connect to the MCP Server and will begin issuing commands to start the debugging process within x64Dbg.

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.
An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
