About Text-to-Speech MCP Server
Text-to-Speech MCP Server is a TypeScript server for converting text into MP3 audio files. It is intended for AI assistants and other MCP clients that need speech output through a standardized interface.
Key features
- 01Convert text to speech
- 02Save generated audio as MP3
- 03Connect through MCP-compatible clients
Use cases
- 01Create MP3 audio from text
- 02Provide speech output to an AI assistant
MCP support
It exposes text-to-speech conversion to MCP clients through a standardized server interface.
Configuration
Local server config is the same for every client. Copy it into your client’s MCP config file.
We haven’t collected a package or remote endpoint for this server. Follow the instructions in the project README.
Tools
Local servers expose tools only once running on your machine, and the maintainer has not provided a tool list.

From the project READMEText-to-Speech MCP Server
A simple MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that provides text-to-speech conversion capabilities, written in TypeScript.
Project Purpose
This project implements a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that offers text-to-speech functionality. It allows AI assistants and other MCP clients to convert text into speech audio files (MP3 format) through a standardized interface.
Key features:
- Convert any text to speech audio
- Save the resulting audio as MP3 files
- Simple integration with any MCP-compatible client

New to MCP?
From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.
An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
