About MCP Text Tools Demo
A simple example MCP server that reverses text. It runs over STDIO or SSE and can be configured for use with Cursor.

MCP support
The MCP server exposes a `reverse_text` tool that accepts text and returns it reversed. It supports STDIO and SSE.
Configuration
Local server config is the same for every client. Copy it into your client’s MCP config file.
We haven’t collected a package or remote endpoint for this server. Follow the instructions in the project README.
Tools
Local servers expose tools only once running on your machine, and the maintainer has not provided a tool list.

安装
- 创建并激活 conda 环境：
conda create -n mcp-server-demo python=3.10
conda activate mcp-server-demo
- 安装依赖：
pip install -r requirements.txt
运行服务器
使用 stdio 模式（默认）
python server.py
使用 SSE 模式
python server.py --transport sse --port 8000
在 Cursor 中配置
- 打开 Cursor 设置
- 导航到
Features>MCP - 点击
+ Add New MCP Server - 配置服务器：
