About MCP Server Hub

MCP Server Hub is a platform for browsing, discovering, and integrating MCP servers to extend AI assistants. It combines a server directory with a Vue frontend and NestJS API.

Key features

  1. 01Browse and discover MCP servers
  2. 02Directory of MCP server listings
  3. 03Standardized MCP connections
  4. 04Integration support for AI tools
  5. 05Vue frontend and NestJS API

Use cases

  1. 01Find MCP servers for assistant capabilities
  2. 02Browse available MCP server listings
  3. 03Integrate server functionality into AI tools

MCP support

The platform catalogs MCP servers and supports their discovery and integration with AI tools; the README does not describe an MCP server endpoint it exposes.

Configuration

Local server config is the same for every client. Copy it into your client’s MCP config file.

No install method listed yet

We haven’t collected a package or remote endpoint for this server. Follow the instructions in the project README.

Features

  • MCP Server Directory: Browse and discover thousands of MCP servers
  • Standardized Protocol: Consistent API for connecting AI models to external tools
  • Easy Integration: Simple process for developers to add functionality to AI tools
  • Open Ecosystem: Join a growing community of developers extending AI capabilities

Project Structure

  • frontend/: Vue application with Element Plus and Tailwind CSS
  • backend/: NestJS API server
  • architecture.md: Architecture overview and design decisions

Prerequisites

  • Node.js >= 16
  • pnpm >= 7
  • PostgreSQL (local or remote)

Getting Started

Installation
# Install pnpm globally if not already installed
npm install -g pnpm

# Install all dependencies
pnpm install:all

pnpm dev

# Start only the frontend
pnpm dev:frontend

# Start only the backend
pnpm dev:backend
Building for Production
# Build both frontend and backend
pnpm build

# Build only the frontend
pnpm build:frontend

# Build only the backend

New to MCP?

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.

An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
