About 設定手順

設定手順 is a setup guide for a project tagged for MySQL and MCP. It describes creating and activating a Python virtual environment, installing dependencies, and adding an MCP server entry to an LLM application's configuration.

Key features

  1. 01Create a virtual environment with uv
  2. 02Install dependencies from requirements.txt
  3. 03Add an MCP server configuration

Use cases

  1. 01Prepare the Python development environment
  2. 02Configure an LLM application to start the MySQL MCP server

MCP support

The instructions show how to add a MySQL server entry under mcpServers in an LLM application's configuration. The README excerpt does not describe the server's tools or data.

Configuration

Local server config is the same for every client. Copy it into your client’s MCP config file.

② 仮想環境をアクティブにする

source .venv/bin/activate

③ 依存パッケージをインストールする

uv pip install -r requirements.txt

このコマンドで、プロジェクトに必要なPythonライブラリが一括でインストールされます。

④ LLMアプリの設定ファイルに下記を追記します。

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.

An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
