About Status Invest - MCP Server
An MCP server that connects to the Status Invest API to retrieve stock information, indicators, and payment dates. It is aimed at MCP clients needing market data, with Zod input validation and a layered design.
Key features
- 01Fetch basic stock information
- 02Retrieve stock indicators
- 03Fetch stock payment dates
- 04Validate inputs with Zod
- 05Layered architecture
Use cases
- 01Looking up stock information
- 02Checking indicators and payment dates
MCP support
The server registers stock-data tools for MCP clients and communicates over stdio. Its tools query the Status Invest API.
Configuration
Local server config is the same for every client. Copy it into your client’s MCP config file.
We haven’t collected a package or remote endpoint for this server. Follow the instructions in the project README.
Tools
Local servers expose tools only once running on your machine, and the maintainer has not provided a tool list.

From the project READMEStatus Invest - MCP Server
This project is part of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) ecosystem and provides tools to interact with external APIs and manage specific domain models. It is designed to demonstrate how to build an MCP server with external API integration and data validation.
| An integration that enables MCP tools to query stock market data, such as stock prices, indicators, and payment dates, using the Status Invest API. |

Features
- get-acoes: Fetch basic stock information.
- get-indicadores: Fetch detailed stock indicator information.
- get-acoes-datas-pagamento: Fetch stock payment dates.
- Input validation using Zod.
- Integration with the Status Invest API using
fetch(infrastructure layer).
Architecture
The project follows a layered architecture inspired by Domain-Driven Design (DDD) patterns:
-
Domain (
src/domain): Defines interfaces and types that represent data structures (e.g.,StatusInvest). -
Infrastructure (
src/infrastructure): Implements external services, such asStatusInvestApiService, responsible for making HTTP calls to the Status Invest API. -
Application (
src/application): Contains business logic inStatusInvestService, which processes and formats data from the infrastructure. -
Interface (
src/interface): Includes controllers (StatusInvestToolsController) that register tools in the MCP server, define validation schemas, and return results. -
Entry Point (
src/main.ts): Initializes theMcpServer, configures the transport (StdioServerTransport), instantiates services and controllers, and starts listening on stdio.
The folder structure is as follows:

New to MCP?
From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.
An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
